Robert "Bob" Milton Martin passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, and entered into his glorious place in heaven. We rejoice in the 83 years of his wonderful life.

Bob was born on May 25, 1942, to the late William Martin and the late Julia Estelle Smith Martin. Entering this world with a steadfast spirit and a generous heart, he devoted his life to his family, his work, and his faith. He was a cherished husband, a proud father, and a strong guiding presence to all who knew him.

In 1979, Bob fulfilled a lifelong dream by founding his own trucking business. After more than four decades of dedication, he retired in 2020 at the age of 78.

Bob's faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he had been a longtime member of Lebanon Methodist Church in Mill Spring, NC. He lived his faith daily, always offering kindness, wisdom, and encouragement to all who crossed his path. Bob's life has been an inspiratio,n and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca, Francis, Kathleen, and Joyce; and a brother, Bill.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Sandra Hunt Martin; his beloved daughter, Kelly Martin Hicks and husband, Dallas Hicks, and many friends.

To honor his request, no formal services will be held.
