Jessica "Jessi" Susan Slape, 42, of Bartlesville, died Friday, May 17, 2024, in Bartlesville after a short battle with cancer.
Jessi was born the daughter of Ernest Lee and Marietta Margaretta (Schneider) Slape on February 12, 1982, in Frankfurt, Germany. Her father was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. He met his German bride while in Germany and they brought their precious baby girl back to the United States when she was four, making their home in Bartlesville. She attended Bartlesville Public Schools and was busy having fun with her many friends. Jessi loved music and the Hair Bands of the 1980's such as Guns and Roses and Skid Row to name a few. She met Roy Parker when she was 14 and they have remained good friends and coparents to their daughters, Brooklin and Bridgette.
Jessi was an amazing mom. The girls always came first. Many lazy days were spent watching old movies or going out and about for some shopping. She was an excellent homemaker and actually enjoyed cleaning. The past few years she has been caring for her younger daughter and her health issues, putting everyone before herself. Jessi was amazing and was dearly loved.
Jessi is survived by her daughters, Brooklin and Bridgette Parker; friend, Roy Parker; brother, Ernest Slape Jr.; and a precious granddaughter on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Hailey Parker.
