Her Legacy Jessica Ann Weimer, 41, passed away April 25, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1982, in Westland, Michigan to Beth Martin and Todd Butler and was lovingly adopted 1 month later by Scott Weimer and Claire (Liebman) Weimer. Jessica found love with John Brown and they enjoyed 19 beautiful years together. She loved her family and children more than anything, they were her everything. Jessica was very kind hearted and would open her home to people and animals in need. Her family would refer to her as a "gatherer of the lost" and she wouldn't have it any other way. She loved to talk and could do so for hours. Jessica was a skilled photographer and an avid reader. She enjoyed playing board games and making jewelry. Jessica often helped John run his various businesses, and she always made things run smoothly. Jessica was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Her Family Jessica will be missed by her significant other, John Brown; her children, Adriana Henza, Derek (girlfriend Emily Phelps) Brown, Duncan "Moo" Brown, Dustin Brown, Daxton Brown; parents, Scott and Claire Weimer; birth mother, Beth Martin; siblings, Jared (fiancée Jessica Bihn) Weimer, Jennifer Martin, Jason Butler, Jerry Phillips, Joel Phillips, Diane Phillips; mother-in-law, Fran Barrett; paternal grandmother, Bette Weimer; numerous aunts and uncles; best friends, Michelle Zanger, Ann Marie Barrett; her children's Godmother, Amie Thurlow; her children's Godfather, Gary Lentocha. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Frances Liebman; and birth father, Todd Butler.
Her Farewell Jessica's family and friends will gather Monday, May 6, 2024, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel in Pinckney, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant.
