Jessie Deer, age 70, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was born March 4, 1955, in Antlers, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Luther Capps and Geneva Lee Lucas Capps.
Mrs. Deer was a member of the Harvest Time Assembly in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and one of her greatest accomplishments was homeschooling her two girls for twenty years, her children and grandchildren were her life.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Rickey Deer of Nashville, AR; two daughters Geneva Lee Davenport (Dwayne) of Nashville, Jeanette Woods (Mark) of Nashville; one sister Rachel Mae Blevins of Bartlesville, OK; and four grandchildren Austin, Eric, Joseph, and Denim.
Cremation services are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. The family has requested no flowers. If you would like to make donations in her honor please make them to the Oklahoma Baptist Children’s Home.
