Jessie A. Hastings (née: Pitman) of Troy, Missouri, passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of the late Thedford "Ted" Hastings; She is survived by her two children, Tonya (Tom) Brassel of Wright City, MO, Tracy (Ron) Maietta of Troy, MO; two brothers, Elton Pitman of Moscow Mills, MO, Billy (Wendy) Pitman of Wentzville, MO; two sisters, Ruby (Dennis) Malberg of Wentzville, MO, Janice Cross of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Lacy, Justene, Kylee, Scott, and Kodi; Ten, great grandchildren; She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Pitman, mother, Josie Pitman (née: Martin), dear son, Tim Hastings, sister, Betty Tinsley, sister, Shirley Dickherber.
Jessie and the late Ted were united in marriage and together they were blessed with three wonderful children. Tonya, Tracy, and Tim. Jessie enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, spending time outdoors watching butterflies, dancing, and celebrating all of the holidays with her family. Her greatest joy came from being with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
