On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Jessie Ruth O’Brien (Brotzman) peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph F. O’Brien; and by her brother, Lloyd “Bud” E. Brotzman, and his wife, Anne Marie Brotzman. Jessie is lovingly survived by her children, Cynthia J. Topper and her husband Anthony G. Topper, Nancy E. Miller, Craig A. O’Brien and his wife Patricia G. O’Brien, Kathleen A. Ellis, and Karen M. Sellars and her husband Jody Sellars. She was the cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and the adored great-grandmother of twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Jessie’s life was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who knew her affectionately as “Grammy.” She found joy in cooking for her family, who treasured her meals and especially her famous bundt cakes, always decorated with her own special touch. Jessie delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love, warmth, and countless memories that will be forever cherished.
Family and friends will be received at the E.F.
