She left to cherish her memory her daughter, Darlene Capps Stephens; granddaughter: Delany Capps Brooks, great-granddaughter Gabbi Capps, grandchildren, Josh Pittman (Lisa), and Jeremy Pittman (Heather), and their mother June Allen; great grandchildren, Tanner Pittman and Josie Pittman; special grandson: Lindsey Brooks; and other beloved family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Junior Pittman; son, Derry Pittman; grandson, Joseph (Bobo) Capps; sons in law, Rev. Joseph R. Capps and Joe E. Stephens; as well as nine brothers and sisters.

Born to Louis B. Coffield and Lessie Jordan Coffield, Jessie Coffield Pittman began her remarkable journey through life with strength, purpose, and unwavering faith. At just 15 ½ years old, she began working at Union Springs Cotton Mill, where she dedicated 42 years of hard, honest labor. Her diligence and business-minded spirit left a legacy of integrity and perseverance that will not be forgotten.

A vibrant and energetic woman, she had a gift for seeing value in everything - whether running a yard sale or selling a single shoe, she did it with charm and wit. Her love for her family was unmatched. She lovingly cared for her parents, who lived with her for 14 years, and served as the unshakable anchor of the entire family - steady, strong, and full of grace.

More than anything, she was a woman of deep moral conviction and spiritual strength. Her faith in Jesus Christ was not only professed but lived out daily. She shared the love of Christ with everyone she met, touching countless lives through kindness, humility, and generosity.

Her life was a testimony to faith, hard work, and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
