Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Hopeful Cemetery. Rev. Clay Cloud will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brian Hobbs, Edmond Pitts, Austin Sharp, Cody Dooling, Gamble Tabb, and Ethan Bainbridge.
Born November 6, 1941 at the family home in Mitchell County, GA, Mrs. Sharp was the daughter of the late Jesse Calvin Jones and Bonnie Kate Taylor Jones. She was married for 53 years to the late Louis Erving Sharp. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopeful Baptist Church. She enjoyed woodworking, sewing and cooking.
Survivors include two daughters, Velynda Hobbs (Randy) of Camilla and April Tabb (Tommy) of Bainbridge; one son, Lorenzo Sharp (Tina) of Hopeful; grandchildren, Malarie Kay Pitts (Edmond), Randy Brian Hobbs (Taylor), Kayla Danielle Sharp Dooling (Cody), Austin Lorenzo Sharp, Masey Alexandria Tabb, William Gamble Tabb, Christi Walston (Jonathon), Samantha Jones (Lloyd), Jennifer Gilbert (Chase); and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.donate.cancer.org and St. Jude, www.stjude.org.
