Jessie Irene (Morgan) Waddle, 86, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Jessie is survived by her daughters: Janice (Jeff) Miller and Lynne (Carson) Poe of Greene County; 16 grandchildren: Eric Miller, Elizabeth (Cory) Johnson, Brenden Miller, Erin Miller of Greene County, Dylan (Ashley) Miller of Seymour, TN, Brianne (Zach) Miller of Knox County, Devin (Kassandra) Miller of South Dakota, Angelene Miller of Washington County, Daniel Miller and Micheal Miller of Memphis, TN, Jodie Easterly, Josh Poe, and Richard (Sandy) Ricker of Greene County Tony (Christine) Haggard or Ohio, Jessica and Alex Breining of Somerville, TN; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harley and Ruth Morgan; four brothers: Buddy Morgan of Gainsville, GA, Haskel Morgan, Bobby Morgan, and Robert Morgan all of Greene County; two sisters: Nina Leatherwood of Greene County and Sylvia Breining of Somerville, TN; husband: Earnest "Pete" Waddle; son: Terry Waddle of Hawkins County; great granddaughter: Ava Miller; and great grandson: Jeremy Easterly of Greene County.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service downtown, the funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Collins and Rev. Kenneth King officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at 10 am Friday morning at the funeral home to go in procession to Mosheim Central Cemetery for the 11 am graveside service. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
