Jesus Leonel Cano

Jesus Leonel Cano, lovingly known as “Jesse” or “Joker,” was born on January 3, 1982, and passed away on December 11, 2025.

Jesse was the beloved son of Leonel Cano, Tina Cano, and Manuel Calsadillas, and the grandson of Joe and Dolores Sanchez, and Manuel and Bertha Calsadillas. He was a much-loved brother to Leonel, Erica, Manuel, and Frances.

He was the father of Jesus Leonel Cano Jr., and an uncle to Johnny, Blue, Aliyah, Aiyanah, Franco, Jakob, Junior, Jordan, Jayanna, Jayde, JaymeZie, Mason, Julie, and Jameson, and a great-uncle to Mariana, Ximena, Mateo, Lola, and Valentina.

He was a friend to many who will remember him for the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.

True to his nicknames, Jesse was always happy and full of life. He had a joyful, infectious laugh that could instantly light up a room. He had a way of finding humor in any situation and always tried to make the best of whatever life handed him. His easy going nature, warm smile, and lighthearted spirit made people feel comfortable and at ease around him.

Jesse will be remembered for his laughter, his smile, and the moments of happiness he shared with those around him. Though he is gone too soon, his memory will live on in the stories told, the laughter remembered, and the love held in the hearts of those who knew him.
