Jesus Jimenez Obituary
Born in Perth Amboy, Jesus was a lifelong resident. He was a retired mail carrier for the Perth Amboy Post office for many years and was also a member of the Good Shepherd Parish at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hopelawn.
He is predeceased by his father Jesus Jimenez Sr. Jesus is survived by his lifelong partner and mother of his children Teresa Jimenez, devoted children Brittany Jimenez, Brandie Jimenez, Jesus "Chuckie" Jimenez III, his mother Luz Maria (Velasquez) Jimenez, a sister Lydia Swindell and her husband Dale, a brother Edward Jimenez and his wife Linda, loving girlfriend Virginia, many adored nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30am from the GUSTAV J. NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy followed by a 10:00am Mass of Resurrection from the Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hopelawn followed by interment at St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.
Visitation will be Sunday July 16th 2pm ~ 6pm at the funeral home.

How do we say goodbye to someone who has been such an integral part of everyone´s life. The memories we shared, all the good times and laughs. Even though, I moved far away, you always welcomed me back with open arms my dear brother. My sincere condolences and unwavering love to the entire Jimenez family. To my lifelong friend Eddie, I send my deepest condolences and prayers.

To all of Chucky´s family,
I worked with Chucky in the Perth Amboy Post Office starting in 1992 and considered him to be person who always would say hello, give a kind word and just a nice person to converse with. Hold good memories of him close to your heart in this sad time.
Rest easy Jesus, I´ll always smile when I remember first meeting you and asking your name.
Hearing of this is such sad news and he truly is gone too soon.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Chuck at the Post Office in Perth Amboy in the late 80's and through the 90's. He was a friend and mentor to me in getting started in my postal career. I moved to Pennsylvania in 2000 and have since retired. So young and only a few years older than myself. Again very sorry to hear about Chucky and prayers to your family.
