Born December 1, 1951 in Moroleon, Guanajuato Mexico, Jesus was the first born to parents Ofelia and Antonio. In 1969, Jesus came to US where he met his wife at a friend's house (her Uncle Gilberto) in 1971. From there they would marry in 1974 and begin what would be their loving 51-year marriage.
Jesus built lifelong friendships with people in his adopted hometown of Waukegan through his time as the league president of the Uriangato Bowling League and years of employment at John Mansville, Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC) and Domino Amjet.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in-law, uncle, cousin, godfather to many and always a great friend. His endless banter and uplifting spirit will live forever in the minds and hearts of all the lives he touched over the years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia, children; Cristina, Jesus (Gloria), his cherished grandchildren Stephany (Joel), Adrian, Nubia, Julia, Nicolas and Luca; always supportive and adoring siblings, sisters Leticia (Jose), Maribel (Gonzalo), Araceli and brothers Miguel (Helen), Marco (Lula) and Juan (Pati) - And tons of adoring nieces, nephews and godchildren. Jesus was preceded in death by his beloved Mother Ofelia and his greatly missed brother Julio.
A Wake and Memorial Mass will be held at 11am Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church - 508 Grand Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Our deepest sympathy to the Guzman Villagomez Family, Jesus and I, used to "hang around" back in the 70"s and get married in the same year, to our respective Girlfriends. R.I.P. Good Friend.
