The Lord called Jesusita Vera DeLeon, 69, of Corpus Christi, home on Monday, September 29, 2025.
She was born November 17, 1955, to the late Monico and Maria Vera of Corpus Christi, Texas. Chita filled our lives with love, laughter and family. She was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother who found her greatest joy in the laughter and hugs of her grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Juan DeLeon (Rosie), Eddie DeLeon, and Viola Garcia (John); sisters, Maria Rivera and Melissa Vera Lemon; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Jade, Emery, Eddie Jr., Elina, Saleen, Isabella, Alianna, and great-grandson, Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolando Garcia Sr; son, Rolando Garcia Jr.; brothers, Monico Vera Jr. and David Vera; and sisters, Olga V. Cantu and Beatrice Escalante.
Chita was dearly loved by many and will be missed. A special thank you is given to friends and family for their support and condolences.
