Jill Clark, age 61, passed away on December 23, 2023, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness. Born May 26, 1962, Miami, FL, Jill was the daughter of Robert and Becky Barrett. Jill moved to Starke, FL, 8 years ago when she married Clayton Otto Clark, Sr. Together, they created a nurturing and loving home for their children. Jill retired from the medical field where she was a surgical tech. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Becky Barrett and brother-in-law, Joel Carmell.
Jill is survived by her husband, Clayton Otto Clark, Sr.; her son, Jeremy Spencer (Nicole) and daughter Cady Spencer. In addition to her children, Jill opened her heart to Clayton's children: Clay Clark, Ashley Jackson, and Linsey Androlevich. Heather Oglesby held a special place in Jill's heart as an honorary daughter. Jill was blessed with the role of grandmother to nine grandchildren: Dakota Spencer, Jordan Spencer, Skylar Spencer, Layla Alexander, Nylah Jackson, Aria Jackson, Stella Jackson, Weston Androlevich, and Kate Androlevich. She also leaves behind her siblings, Joy Barrett (Bill Hogrewe), Jan Quintero, and Jeff Barrett (Bonnie).
Jill's memory will be honored during a Celebration of Life service on December 28, 2023, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. A visitation will begin at 11:30am with the service following at 12:00pm.
