Jill Dangleis Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 11, 2025.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Jill Dangleis - a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, inspiring teacher, and cherished friend. Married to her beloved husband Jim, Jill was the heart of her family and the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories. She was the proud and devoted mother of Lee and her husband Ryan, and Mark and his wife Megan, and a doting grandmother to Rhoan, Wynne, and Ajla - her greatest joys.

A graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School and Elms College, Jill carried her love of learning throughout her life and career. She dedicated over 20 years to teaching mathematics, impacting the lives of countless students with her intelligence, compassion, and unwavering commitment to education.

Beyond the classroom, Jill's zest for life radiated through her many passions. A true dog lover and outdoor enthusiast, she found joy at the beach, on hiking trails, and on the golf course - even achieving a hole-in-one. She was an avid ping pong player, a skilled gardener, and had an impeccable eye for home décor. Her creativity and flair were nationally recognized when she was featured in Better Homes and Gardens for her beautiful decorating style.

Jill cherished time spent at the lake, where she loved paddleboarding, kayaking, and fishing - always connected to the peace of nature. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, including unforgettable travels to Brazil and the Galápagos Islands. She also treasured time spent with her mother in Florida, where sunshine and family were always in abundance.

Jill Dangleis will be remembered for her love, generosity, sense of humor, and vibrant spirit. She passed on the morning of the supermoon, and her energy has been absorbed by the universe - living on in nature and all around her loved ones. Her light and love continue to surround those she touched.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. A celebration of life will occur in the spring.
