Kimberly Dangleis passed away peacefully after navigating the long and winding road of life. Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Wife and Friend, she touched so many lives and leaves so many memories.
She loved to cook – and to eat; loved to tend to her gardens – and smell the roses;
loved the beach – and most of all, spending time with family. She is survived by two of her three children; Kelly Frances (John Dziza) and William Roy Jr; (Brittany), Dean Joseph passed in 2006, four grandchildren; Kaylee, Kadence, Bailey and Bradley, four siblings Deb, Cindi, Donald and John and husband William Roy Sr.
One of her first jobs was working at a nursery, perfect for someone who loves to garden. She also spent many, many years at various restaurants. Her social skills and attention to detail made her the kind of waitress you would want handling your table. But most rewarding for Kim was working at the Wilbraham 10-pin bowling alley. She loved being bartender and was responsible for overseeing many areas of the business. If walls could talk, that bowling alley would tell of how much Kim and her entire family loved that place.
Kim will be remembered for her ability to strike up a conversation and make friends out of perfect strangers, and she had a memory an elephant would envy. Kim could remember the tiniest of details of events long, long ago. Her memory was like a super-computer. But technology was not her thing, she had a bad case of "techno-fright". She once asked "where do we go to see the Internet"? And she also wanted a "blueberry" [blackberry phone] for Christmas.
She could make you laugh and make you cry, sometimes at the same time. Kim lost her purpose when she lost her son, Dean. She will be missed very much, her passing is sad, but transition to much deserved Peace.
God Bless and rest in peace, Kim.
