1935 - 2026
Hampden
Robert Henry Zepke, 90, died peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Born in Springfield to the late Eric and Florence (Arcand) Zepke, Bob had a long career in lumber sales and was a member of the Hampden Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. An avid golfer and hot rod enthusiast, he was a longtime member of Quaboag Country Club and the Stokers Hot Rod Club.
In addition to his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his brother Eric Zepke in 2010 and his former wife Judith A. (Tierney) Zepke in 2018. He will be greatly missed by his two devoted children; Christopher Zepke of Hampden and Amanda Haldeman and her husband Steven of Hampden, brothers; Roger Zepke of Wilbraham and Ralph Zepke of East Longmeadow, and his loving companion Judy Kieliszek of Hampden.
Family and friends may gather for Bob's Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 15th at 12:00 Noon at Leone's Restaurant 320 Cooley St., Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center, 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.
