Jill Potter Obituary Jill Sue Pfeiffer Potter, age 78, of Boonville, passed away on January 27, 2026, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove. Jill was born to Nelson and Fannie (Lamm) Pfeiffer on October 30, 1947, in Boonville, Missouri. She married Jackie Hugh Potter on February 13, 1965, in Prairie Home. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2021.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Howard Funeral Home, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jamestown, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Jill was a graduate of Prairie Home High School. She had a long career as a bookkeeper with the University of Missouri Hospital and various other businesses.
Survivors include a beloved son, John Richard Potter (Jennifer) of Boonville. Jack and Jill also leave behind 4 grandchildren: Jacob Potter (Angel), Clinton Potter (Shelby), Lauren Potter (Tyler Warren), and Ricky Potter (Gina); 3 great grandchildren: Jordan, Aiden, and Aurora Potter; one sister Wilda Adair; 3 nieces: Chanda Sturgeon, Renea Sapp, Mandy Wells; and a nephew Adam Pfeiffer.
In addition to her husband, Jill was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dwight Pfeiffer, and her beloved puppy dog "Louie".
