Jill S. Schnitzmeyer, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 17, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents, Emory Raymond Schaeffer and Judith (Aldrich) Schaeffer.

Jill was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her presence was steady and comforting, and she meant more to those who loved her than words can fully express. She found joy in simple moments—being out and about, sharing meals, and spending time with the people she cared about.

Jill was strong in ways that mattered most. She faced life with quiet resilience, and even in difficult moments, her love for her family never wavered. She will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Schnitzmeyer; her parents, Emory and Judith Schaeffer; and her sister, Candice Schaeffer Arthur.

Jill is survived by her children, Beth and Noah Schnitzmeyer; her sisters, Ann Baun (Bruce) and Wendy Davis (Carey); and her beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Jill will take place at 1:00pm, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250.
