Jillmarie Stevens, 62, Anoka, MN, formerly of Bismarck, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The burial will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 22, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Jill was born on July 22nd, 1963, to Terry Stevens and Denise (Walz) Myers. She grew up with two brothers Michael Stevens and Danny Stevens, in Bismarck. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Saint Mary’s with majors in Psychology and Nursing.
She will be remembered for her bubbly, talkative, and energetic personality. She was very caring for her loved ones and would always put others before herself. She also loved to relax at home after a hard day working as an OBGYN nurse and traveling nurse. She showed leadership and excellence at her job and her coworkers loved having her around. She also served in the Army and retired as a Captain.
She loved to play Super Mario Brothers. A favorite show of hers was Big Brother and she would never miss a season. She was very interested in learning about History and Geography. She loved to understand how things were connected and where historical events played out in the world. Her favorite movie was Back to the Future and the Wizard of Oz. She was a pet lover.
She is survived by her: husband Guy Gilbert Hanson, brother Michael Stevens, daughters Michelle Harris and Brittany Harris, and her son Michael Gilbert Stevens-Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her mother Denise (Walz) Myers, her father Terry Stevens, Maternal Grandparents Olive and Lars Hagboe and Paternal Grandparents Theresa and George Stevens and her brother Danny Stevens.
