Jim Feary, 69

Born April 3, 1956 - Passed away October 13, 2025

Jim Feary, 69, of Statesville, North Carolina (formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio, and proudly from the Bronx, New York), passed away on October 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

Born in the Bronx on April 3, 1956, Jim carried that New York spirit with him everywhere he went - along with an unshakable loyalty to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the New York Jets.

Jim built his life around family, laughter, and a knack for making friends wherever he went. He raised his family in Washington Court House, Ohio, where he was known for his quick wit, his endless supply of random facts, and for being "the Wendy's guy." If you knew Jim, you probably got a laugh, a fun fact, or a Frosty from him at some point.

He had a deep love for music, especially Frank Sinatra, and was the go-to guy for movie and book recommendations - always eager to share something he thought you'd love.

Jim was a devoted husband to his wife of 42 years, Terri, and a proud dad to Megan (Derek) of Cincinnati, Colleen (James) of Statesville, James (LeAnne) of Cleveland, and John. His two grandchildren, Connor and Olivia, completely stole his heart and brought him endless joy.

Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but we take comfort knowing his humor, curiosity, and big heart will live on in all of us. In his honor, raise a Miller High Life, share a good story, and cheer a little louder for Notre Dame or the Jets - he'd love that.

Those wishing to honor Jim's memory can make a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, donate blood, or register as a bone marrow donor through the National Marrow Donor Program (nmdp.org) - causes close to his heart and meaningful to his fight.
