William P. Clarke, 70, of South Windsor, beloved husband of Juvy Clarke, died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by his family. William was born in New York, NY, the son of the late William H. and Margaret (Gallagher) Clarke. He grew up in Nyack, NY and was a graduate of Fordham Prep and Santa Clara University. William enjoyed a career in banking and worked for Wells Fargo, and then was the VP of Loan Services for Rockville Bank which became United bank before his retirement in 2017. He met and married the love of his life Juvy Cajeta on July 25, 2009. William was a sports fan and enjoyed the NY Football Giants, skiing, and tennis. He was a history buff and enjoyed airplanes. He had the opportunity to travel all over the world to places such as Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and the Bahamas among other places. A kind, caring, loving, and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend to many, he will be dearly missed. Along with his wife Juvy, he leaves his children, Erin Clarke and Anna Clarke both of Delmar, NY, Liam Clarke, Brian Clarke, and Meghan Clarke, all of South Windsor, his siblings, Ann Marie Clarke, Thomas Clarke, and Katherine Clarke all of Easton, PA. His family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 2-4 p.m., at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd. (Rt. 83) Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 22, 2025, 10 a.m., meeting directly at Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Vernon.
