GOLDSACK - Jim Goldsack, age 95 of Snellville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church with Father Cyriac Mattathilanickal, M.S. and Rev. Msgr. Peter Rau presiding. Jim was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Senior Golf Association of Atlanta. Jim graduated from Georgia State University and worked for Continental Insurance for 41 years prior to retirement. He was a loving husband and father and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Conley Goldsack. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Joan Marie Goldsack of Snellville, GA; children, Jim and Mary Goldsack of Lawrenceville, GA, Eileen and Art Renteria of Kennesaw, GA, Maureen and Mark McClelland of The Woodlands, TX, Patricia and Isaias Cruz of Bedford, TX; grandchildren, John Goldsack, Timothy and Jessica Goldsack, Kate and Danny Berger, Greg Cruz, Brian Cruz; step-grandchildren, Arturo and James Morrell, Armando and Tu Renteria; great grandchildren, Ender Goldsack, Ever Goldsack, Gabby Berger, Amelia Berger, and Wyatt Berger; step great grandchildren, Arlo Renteria, and Leo Renteria.
