Jim Gotcher Obituary
Jimmy was born in Kansas City, MO. His family moved to Flagstaff around 1962. Jimmy grew up in the Phoenix area and graduated from Tempe High school. Jimmy worked for the AZ Department of Corrections for over 20 years until his retirement. After retirement, Jimmy moved to Payson where he enjoyed fishing and exploring the Rim Country mountains.
Jimmy's parents Jim Tom Sr. and Wanda Jean Gotcher, both preceded him in death. He leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years Carmen, brother Donald Gotcher, sister Peggy McDonald, sister-in-law Karen and Guy Peterson, brother-in-law Farnsworth Brown. Although Jimmy never had children, he was surrounded by many close friends that he considered family including Bob and Prue Espersen, Lynn Espersen, Jeff and Kim Knight to name just a few.
Jimmy touched so many hearts; he will be truly missed. He was the love of Carmen's life.
