James Edward Ogan was born March 25, 1947 to Ray David and Daisy Mae Ogan. Jim passed away at Cox South Hospital on August 8, 2025 after suffering two brain aneurysms and strokes. He was 78 years old.

Jim was baptized at age 57 at James River Church. He retired as a Greene County Building Inspector after 24 years. Jim served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Most recently he was privileged to go on the Honor Flight of the Ozarks to Washington, D.C. last year. He married Linda Young on July 26, 1985. Jim loved the Lord, his family, many friends and neighbors. He also loved flowers and working in the yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Ed Canning.

Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Ogan and family; sister, Linda Canning and nieces Audrey Baldwin and Casie Chayer and their families.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, August 18, 2025 at James River Church. Burial with Full Military Honors will be at 2:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Jim was very loved and will be greatly missed.
