James "Jim" Louis Panas Obituary
Jim was Born to this world on April 18, 1938 in Bayard Nebr. to Louis and Stella Panas.
He grew up on the family farm in Bridgeport Nebr with his nine older Siblings Angeline, Andrew, John, Gloria, Sophia, Margarita, Ted, Pete, and Nick.
Jim met the love of his life Fannie Panos at a wedding in 1958 and they were married on January 18, 1959.
They moved to Denver Colorado, had two wonderful children, Anastasia and Louis (Milton), two grandchildren Samantha and Jessica, four great-grandchildren, Destiny, Alex, Lexi, and Selina, and shared their life together for 66 years.
Jim had many talents and passions throughout his life: A fisherman, a hunter, a gardener, a football fan (but not the Broncos), a wonderful cook, a teacher, and a knowledgeable master in mechanics, hydraulics, refrigeration, metals and gold/silver plating.
Jim was active in the Greek Orthodox Church cooking for festivals, fixing and refinishing many Liturgical items and church artifacts, and helping to build the Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Boulder.
Through his adventures and lifestyle, Jim was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, made many close longtime friends, enjoyed the good times, overcame the hard times, and lived to be 86 year old.
Jim fell asleep in the Lord, with his family by his side, on January 11, 2025 after complications due to a fall.
May his memory be Eternal
