James Edwin "Jim" Weakland, 73 years old Passed away peacefully at his home in Union Hall, VA with all his children by his side.
He retired from Alliance Imaging. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper, and loved wood working. Later in life he loved to travel in his RV.
Survived by his children, James Weakland, and Robin of Addison, MD, Marshall Weakland and Holly of Smithfield, PA, Michael Weakland and Paula of Callands, VA, Misty Allen and Cary of Smithfield, PA; Siblings, Caroline Oravets, Verna Smitley and husband Bill, Robert Weakland and wife Kathy.
As well as his 13 grandchildren; Preceded in death by his father, Marshall Weakland and his mother Mary Weakland. As well as his grandson Jimmy Weakland.
Pall Bearers will be James Weakland, Marshall Weakland, Michael Weakland, Doc Dillon, Calvin Elswick, Jay Angel.
Services will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at Scotty’s Fertilizer House, 679 Morgans Fork Road, Penhook, VA 24137
The viewing will be 2-4 PM with the service to follow.
The burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 2237 Waters Edge Drive, Penhook, VA 24137. Immediate family only for burial services.
Service is being officiated by Elliot Scott.
