Jimmie proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He had a passion for trains, hot rods, motorcycles and traveling the country.
Jimmie was a devoted member of Pine Drive Baptist Church in Dickinson, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores Pinn. He leaves behind to treasure his memory, step-sons, Victor Herod (Richain) and Vincent Herod (Jennifer Nichols) and grandchildren, Benjamin Herod and Tyler Herod.
A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, September 23,2025 at 11:00am in the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cuero, Texas.
