Michael Wayne Porterfield

Michael Wayne Porterfield born July 22,1963,. Michael had a wife of 43 years Kathy, 3 children, David the number 1 son, his baby girl Rachel, and the nerd Justin. He had nick names for all of his children.

He had his mother Betty, his dad Albert, his sister Cynthia, and sister Cherie. He also had a daughter in law Ashleigh who is married to David, they gave him two grandchildren Maverick Vance Porterfield so his initials would be MVP 8, and Wilder Michael 5. He also had a son in law Milton who is married to Justin. Michael thought of Ashleigh and Milton just like they were his children.

He had 2 dogs Tucker and Angel.

He loved to work in his woodshop with all of his saws and tools making bird houses, plant stands, dog bowl stands, and anything else you can imagine. He was fantastic with wood and could make just about anything you asked him to.

Unfortunately, we lost Michael on September 13,2025 he was 62 years old.

His celebration of life will be Saturday Oct 4, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home on Main Street (518) in League City at 10:00AM to visit and celebrate Michael. The service will be at 11:00 AM, conducted by Levi Taylor a workmate of Michaels from 40 years ago.
