St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Jimmie Dale Green Guidry, 70, who passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Lafayette.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Wednesday from 8:30 am until the time of service at 3:00 pm.
Jimmie Dale worked for the State of Louisiana for over 30 years, giving time to both the DOTD and Public Health divisions. After retirement, she worked for several years for St. Bernard School's after care program. Jimmie Dale was a devoted mother and grandmother, who cherished the time she spent with them. She enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, listening to music and caring for her dog, Lily. Jimmie Dale will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Hulin and her husband, Logan; grandchildren, Kalli Hulin and Khloe Hulin; brother, Terry Wayne Green; and sisters, Jeanette Jones and Charlotte Burnaman and her husband, Steve.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse "Jimmy" Green; and mother, Fay Juneau Green.
