Born on November 1, 1955, in Olathe, Kansas, Jimbo spent his formative years in Springhill, Kansas. His life's journey later led him to Arkansas and ultimately to Oklahoma, where he built a life rich with experiences and relationships. A man of many talents, Jimbo began his professional career as a skilled welder, a testament to his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. He later found his true calling in the automotive industry, becoming a respected auto mechanic and tow truck driver during his time in Arkansas. His expertise continued to flourish when he moved to Oklahoma, where he served as a dedicated auto mechanic for A and M Chevrolet in Vinita, always priding himself on his ability to fix anything with an engine.
Beyond his professional life, Jimbo was a passionate outdoorsman. In his younger days, he found immense joy in the thrill of pheasant hunting, a pastime that connected him deeply with nature. As he grew older, his love for the water blossomed, transforming him into an avid fisherman. He reveled in the tranquility of boating on Grand Lake and spent countless hours fishing from its sandbars, finding peace and contentment in the rhythm of the waves. As a pastime, he also enjoyed Square-dancing. Above all, Jimbo cherished spending time outdoors with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, for whom he held a boundless affection. Their laughter and presence were his greatest treasures.
A visitation will be held to celebrate Jimbo's life on Tuesday, November 25, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Both services will take place at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in
