JIMMY JONES Obituary

JONES

July 10, 1940 -

September 8, 2025

Brownwood - Jimmy Charles Jones, the ultimate salesman with a great sense of humor, said goodbye on September 8 while surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy died after a seven-month illness. He passed with grace, dignity, and a positive attitude.

Jimmy, wife Ann, and sons Marc and Jason lived in Plano for 25 years before Jimmy and Ann moved back to their hometown, Brownwood.

Jimmy and Ann were both active in Plano and Collin County. Jimmy owned Jones Custom Products in Dallas, one of the largest label companies in the Dallas area. His success caught the eye of Lord Label in London, England, who purchased the company.

Never one to sit still for long, Jimmy built and sold several storage businesses after moving to Brownwood. He also bought and sold an RV park, as well as remodeled homes to sell or rent. He enjoyed enhancing neighborhoods.

Jimmy was active in Brownwood First Methodist Church, Brownwood Kiwanis, Brown County Water District board for 11 years, and the Brown County Appraisal Review Board for many years.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Ann; son, Marc, and wife, Stacy of Rockwall; niece, Lori Jones McGowen of Brownwood; great-niece, Kristina McGowen of Brownwood; and sister-in-law, Vickie Jones of Brownwood.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his son, Jason, his parents, brother Tommy Jones, and his sister, Sharron Brincefield.

Jimmy's Celebration of Life was September 11, 2025 at First Methodist Church, Brownwood.
