Jimmy Darrell Cox, Jr., age 58 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died, Tuesday March 4, 2025 at the Big Southfork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.
He was born June 29, 1966 the son of the late Jimmy “Joe” Darrell Cox and Brenda Sue (Ross) Cox. Jimmy had worked in Construction, enjoyed collecting old money, cars, fishing, nut especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, his wife, Sheila Ann (Ross) Cox; and son, Jeffery Cox.
Survivors include his children, Amber Privett (Sean) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, John Cox (Vanessa) of Jellico, Tennessee, Christopher Cox (Rachel) of Strunk, Kentucky, Michelle Cox (Justin Brown) of Lexington, Kentucky, Stephanie Waters (Joseph) of Strunk, Kentucky, Tiffany Cox of Strunk, Kentucky, Michael Cox of Strunk, Kentucky, and Justina Bell of Pine Knot, Kentucky; fiancé, Christina Bell of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brother, Steven Cox of Stearns, Kentucky, sister, Linda Roberts of Stearns, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Alex, Briahna, Letty, Chris, Alieghna, Zivah, Mia, Weston, Bentley, Greyson, Terri, and Dakota.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Friday, March 7, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Slavey officiating. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Friday at the Funeral Home.
