Jimmy Lynn Dean Sr., 84, of Hartselle, AL entered into eternal rest on June 20th, 2025. Jimmy, son of Dick and Maude Dean, and loving husband of Paulette Dean, peacefully passed away in his home at Lincoln Manor Assisted Living in Fayetteville, TN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dick Dean and his mother, Maude Dean. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paulette Dean; his children Jimmy Lynn Dean Jr. (Susie) and Penny Bowen (Jeff); his grandchildren Jessica Feemster (Karl), Breanna Novak (Adam), Jonathan Feemster (Kelsey), Summer Dean (Dalton), Taylor Wright (Matthew), Wesley Feemster, Colin Bowen, Lindsey Martin, Spencer Bowen; and his great-grandchildren Henleigh, Lacey, Caiden, Olive and Owen.
Jimmy worked as a mail carrier at the Hartselle Post Office for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to quartet music, running beagles, classic cars, and talking about drag racing with his son. In retirement, you could find him at the Hartselle Civic Center playing table tennis, at his grandchildren's sporting events, and rooting for Alabama football. Jimmy loved the Lord and a good meal. He was cared for by his family and the wonderful staff of Lincoln Manor and Gentiva Hospice.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Peck Funeral Home, at 1:00 PM, Bro. Michael Gunter and Bro. Phillip Hardin, will be officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00 -8:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hartselle City Cemetery immediately following the service.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Dean, Jonathan Feemster, Wesley Feemster, Jeff Bowen, Don Swanner, and Phillip Hardin.
