Mr. Jimmy Harris Eakin, of Cleveland, TN passed away late Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at CHI Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was 87.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
Mr. Eakin was born January 1, 1937, in Arkansas. Jimmy was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for M&M Mars for over 36 years and was a faithful employee. He loved his family more than anything else in the world. He was a blessing to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jewel Eakin, of Cleveland, TN; a son, Ricky Eakin, Cleveland, TN; two daughters, Rena McFarland (Wayne) and Shirl Guadarrama; grandchildren, Zachary and Wesley McFarland, Amy Conrod, Rebecca Readus, Jared and Sarah Guadarrama, Micheal Greco.
