Jimmy Dale Frizell passed from this life on August 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on February 28, 1960, he lived a life marked by service, strength, and deep devotion to his family.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the Persian Gulf War as a United States Marine. A courageous and decorated soldier, he retired as a Tank Commander after earning numerous awards for his service. His commitment to duty and country was unwavering.

After retiring as a 100% disabled veteran, Jimmy began a second career as a diesel mechanic. He brought the same dedication and work ethic to his civilian life that he had shown in the military. Yet, his life found new meaning when he met the love of his life, Kathy. Married for 19 years, Jimmy was a devoted and loving husband who cherished every moment with her.

A man of many interests, Jimmy enjoyed classic Westerns, science fiction, and staying informed on current political events. He also had a passion for collecting coins and international currency. His pride and joy was his meticulously maintained 2012 Chevy Silverado, which he kept in pristine condition.

Known for his strong sense of respect toward others, Jimmy had a serious side when needed, but he was just as often the source of laughter with his quick wit and love for practical jokes. He shared a special bond with his son-in-law, a relationship built on mutual respect and genuine connection and support for one another.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his daughters Kim Willis (and her husband Bill), Misty Walker (and her husband Brett Blake), Kristi Walker, and PJ Walker; his son Austin Prevo; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.

Jimmy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His courage, character, and kindness leave a lasting legacy.
