SERVICE PHOTO --- SERVICE FOLDER --- JIMMY'S FUNERAL

Jimmy Graff, 78, Ashley, ND, died Saturday, April 12, 2025 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Good Friday, April 18, 2025 at Carlsen-Lien Chapel, Ashley, led by Pastor David Irwin. Vocal selections will be "The Lord's Prayer" and "How Great Thou Art". Interment follows at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ashley.

Jimmy's funeral will be livestreamed at the Lien Family Funeral Care Facebook page.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Carlsen-Lien Chapel.

James Virgil Graff, son of Margaret (Pfeifle) and John Graff, was born March 9, 1947 at the Eureka Community Hospital, Eureka, SD. Until age five, Jimmy, as he was best known, lived near Hosmer, SD. In 1952 they family relocated to Ashley where Jimmy lived the rest of his life. Jimmy attended Ashley Public School. He then worked for area farmers and various businesses around town. For 10 years, Jimmy was employed on a railroad section crew. He then continued doing odd jobs around Ashley until just recently. He also worked with and sold scrap metal. Jimmy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley and very much enjoyed fishing.

Jimmy is survived by one brother, Harvey Graff, of Rapid City, SD; sister-in-law, Betty Graff, of Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John, on January 11, 1983; his mother, Margaret, on February 2, 1995; four brothers-Reinie, Marvin, Allen, and Delbert; and two sisters-Arlene Rohrbach and Pearl Rott.

Honorary bearers will be Jimmy's nieces and nephews.

Casketbearers will be Monte Wahl of Aberdeen, SD; Evan Wahl and Tim Rott of Ashley; Roy Graff of Rapid City; and Darvin Rohrbach and Al Grau of Roscoe, SD.

Services are in care of Carlsen-Lien Chapel, Ashley.
