Jimmy Hamm Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brown Funeral Home - Wilmington on Feb. 12, 2026.
Jimmy Ray Hamm, Sr., age 69, of Midland, passed away February 10, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. He was born March 15, 1956, in Westboro, the son of David and Kathleen (Carver) Hamm and from an early age was involved in the logging and tree trimming industry. He had most recently worked and retired from Asplundh. A family man, Jimmy loved being outside. Whether looking for hidden treasures, fishing, collecting knives and Zippos or talking about local history, Jimmy loved to interact with and help others. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Judy Ann (Baughn) Hamm; his mother, Kathleen (Carver) Hamm; two children, Christina (Michael Moore) Hamm and Jimmy (Brittany Hensley) Hamm; stepchildren, Kayla, Tiffany, Jason, Tara, Chris Shot and family, Bobby Shot and family, Edward Shot and Monty Shot and family; grandchildren, Malakai, Skylar, Mark, Shelbi, Kayli, Chance, Blakelei, Aaliyah, Emmett, Aiden, Mary and Dallas; siblings, Paul Hamm, Joseph Hamm, Rose Coffey and Bonny Walker; and multiple adopted and loved children, grandchildren, and the Midland Crew. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father David Hamm; his brother, Charles Hamm; and his grandparents, Belford P. and Bertha B. (Withrow) Hamm and Benton "Easy" and Elsie "Mother" Carver. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service starts at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
