Jimmy Leon Johnson, age 73, of Lafayette, TN, passed away September 20, 2025. He was born May 7, 1952 to the late Frank and Clara Cravins Johnson in Livingston, TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Johnson; his brothers, Ricky Johnson, Danny Johnson, Frank Johnson, Jr, and Larry Johnson; and his sisters, Linda Kimbel and Joyce Faye Payne.
He is survived by his brother, Billy Johnson; his sister, Lois Ann Davis (Gary Todd); his step-daughters, Melissa Ferguson and Melinda Alexander; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was a United States Veteran of the Marine Corp. He enjoyed working as a carpenter.
Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be conducted on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Eulia Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Gary Todd Davis, John Davis, Stacey Davis, Tim Davis, Jeremiah Payne and Troy Claiborne. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 23 from 3PM till 8PM and again on Wednesday, September 24th from 9AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
