Jimmy D. Keene, age 62, resident of Plymouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on June 24, 1961 to the late William and Vonda Gail (Osborne) Keene Jr. in McDowell, Kentucky.
Jimmy was extremely proud to serve his country in the US Army and to achieve his black belt in Karate. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and never missed watching the game. He enjoyed classic cars and car shows. Music was a comfort throughout his life to the very end. Jimmy had a heart of gold and would do anything he could to help anyone and was loved by many.
Jimmy is survived by the love of his life, Valentina Stephens; son, Michael (Kara) Pritchard of Mansfield; daughter, Abby Cooper of Toledo; step-children, Gretchen (Cole) Hinkle of Shelby and Kalob Stephens of Plymouth; and ten grandchildren. Also surviving are his aunt, Shirley (Bob) Coldwell, whom he cherished; numerous cousins including, Kent Keene, Dana O'Neil and Bill Coldwell; and special friends, Justin and Misty Finley, Gary Reno, Harvey Robinson, Mike Swick and so many more.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Keene; and grandson, Braxton Burton.
Family and friends may gather at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Jimmy's funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. and burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions can be made to OhioHealth Hospice. Online condolences can be left for his family by visiting www.secorfuneralhomes.com.
