Jimmy Darrell Keith of Monticello, Kentucky was born July 26, 1935, and departed this life Monday, September 26th, 2022, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Critt and Myrtle Morrow Keith. He was united in marriage to Joanne Denney and to this union three daughters were born, two of whom survive: Priscilla Kay (Dick) Rose and Pamela Ann Burton.
He is also survived by one son in law; Tony Garst, four sisters; Anna Lee Vaughn, Audrey Edwards, Arlene Taylor, Georgia Dick, eight grandchildren; Lauren Stoddard, Amanda Kiesel, Austin Rose, Nigel Burton, Michael Garst, Riana Slavey, Gavin Rose, Haiden Rose, and nine great grandchildren; Dalayna Stoddard, Larissa Slavey, Lucas Stoddard, Harlin Kiesel, Cason Garst, Carter Garst, Piper Stoddard, Chandler Kiesel, and Kashton Slavey.
He was preceded in death by his ex-wife; Joanne Denney, one daughter; Kimberly Lynn Garst, three sisters; Shelia Kay Keith, Ellen Turner, Genive Phillips, two brothers; Virgil Morrow, Billy Joe Keith, and one granddaughter; Priscia Rose.
Jimmy had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church on July 28, 1954.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30th from 10:30AM until 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30th at 2PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Isaac Tucker Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Issac Tucker Cemetery and Lower Turkey Creek Church Building Fund.
