Jimmy Dale Kimbrough Sr.

Jimmy Dale Kimbrough, Sr. (Jim), 77, of Bluemont, Virginia, passed away on September 17, 2025.

Jim was born January 31, 1948, in Florence, Alabama, to the late Richard Arthur Kimbrough and Frances Creasy Kimbrough. Upon graduating Central High School, Jim joined the United States Army and served as a Military Police Officer. After completing his military service, Jim spent time with the United States Secret Service as a Presidential Guard. Upon leaving military and government service, Jim spent 25 years in the car sales industry. In his retirement years, he worked at Rockwood Ridge Farm in Bluemont, VA, spending much of his time repairing small engines and farm equipment. He also loved caring for his home, where he planted several new trees and took pride in maintaining the land around him.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Lisa Kimbrough Michaud. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Kimbrough of Bluemont, VA; son, Jimmy Kimbrough, Jr., and wife Lacey of Boyce, VA; sister, Brenda Hill of Florence, AL; brother, Jerry Kimbrough, and wife Vanessa of Dennis, MS; grandchildren Danielle Martin of Winchester, VA, Tyler Martin of Berryville, VA, Clarissa Kimbrough of Fairfax, VA, and Samantha Brooks of Boyce, VA; and five great-grandchildren. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him much joy.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery, 20421 Airmont Rd., Bluemont, VA. Pallbearers will be Tyler Martin, Bobby Kline, Brian Kline, Kris Kline, Tony Ross, and Adam Orndorff. Arrangements are being handled by Hall Funeral Home in Purcellville, VA.
