Jimmy McFadden Obituary

Published by Legacy on May 11, 2024.
FORT WORTH - Jimmy Larry McFadden, 83, left this world to be with our Father in Heaven on April 27, 2024.
Jimmy was born on March 22, 1941, to Guy and Ellin McFadden in Carthage, Texas. He graduated from Logansport Highschool in Louisiana in 1959.
Jimmy enlisted in the Airforce in 1959 and served through 1965. He worked 40+ years with the Railroad and retired with Union Pacific.
Jimmy was an avid photographer in the military and throughout his life. He thoroughly enjoyed the East Texas countryside as his subject matter. His favorite singers were Jim Reeves and Alan Jackson among other country artists. He loved to read western novels by Louis L'Amour and other novels by Robert Ludlum and David Baldacci. He liked watching a good western with John Wayne in his downtime and he was a sucker for chocolate ice cream.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ellin McFadden; and two of his sisters, Vida Duke and Tony Lambert.
Jimmy is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Pattie Blissett; sister, Analea Rawson; his three children: Guy, Tommy and Daineen McFadden; his grandchildren, Ashley Wallack, Bryce McFadden, Faith and Eric McFadden and Makaiya Drayton; great-grandchildren, Carson Wallack, Adley and Ellis McFadden; and numerous nieces and nephews and their continuing families.
