Jimmy Chung Phan, 61, of Stafford County passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
Born in Vietnam, Jimmy immigrated to San Francisco in 1986, where he began his career as a nail technician. In 1996, he met the love of his life, Dung Le, and the two were married in 1999. Together, they built and ran a successful nail salon for over two decades, working side by side for 22 years.
Jimmy had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He loved fishing, gardening, tending to his yard, and traveling whenever he could. A passionate sports fan, he followed the Vietnam national soccer team with pride and rooted enthusiastically for his favorite NFL teams-the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Commanders.
Above all, Jimmy was a devoted husband and father who worked tirelessly to provide a good life for his family. He was known for his easygoing nature, generous spirit, and ever-present willingness to lend a hand. Whether it was through a small act of kindness or sharing a laugh, Jimmy had a way of making those around him feel cared for and uplifted.
Survivors include his wife, Dung Thi Ngoc Le; son Jason Phan Chinh Le; mother Pho Mai; sister Tiem Phan; brother Cao Phan; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A Buddhist Prayer Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
