Graveside services for Jimmy Walen Roberts, age 70, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Baxter and Rev. Mike Bankston will officiate.
Mr. Roberts was born on December 17, 1952, in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late William Forest and Marie Price Roberts. He was a self-employed certified mechanic. Mr. Roberts passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Fairview Park Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Blount Roberts of Wrightsville; son Walen Trevor Roberts (Tanya) of Powder Springs; daughter Reagan T. Roberts Crutchfield (Mike) Fort Mill, SC; two grandchildren Walen Trevor Roberts, Jr., and Etta Monroe Crutchfield; and sister Idonia Snell of Wrightsville; nephew Jim Snell of Sandersville; and niece Sheila Roberts Covington of Dublin.
Pallbearers will be Jim Snell, Truitt Price, Derek Webb, Jay Price, Randy Price, Billy Hall, and Johnny Keyton.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
