Jimmy Carl Robinson

Jimmy Carl Robinson, age 86, of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his residence.
Jimmy was born on March 15, 1939, in Fentress County, Tennessee to the late Jim and Pearl Robinson. He was a long-time member of Sparta First Freewill Baptist. He worked many jobs to support his family.
Jimmy was a well-known house painter, carpenter, and member of the White County Farmers
CO-OP.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Robinson, Larry Robinson, and Jack Robinson, and his wife of 63 years Notie Jo Robinson.
Surviving family include Children, Janie (Randy) Cowan of Sparta, Tn, James Wallace (Sandy) Robinson of Bever Dam, Ky and Brother Charlie Robinson.
Grandchildren: Grayson (Brandi) Winningham, Ashley (Atticus) Coleman, Chief Warrent Officer Cody (Kristy) Robinson, Thad (Melinda) Robinson, Joey (Tracie) Cowan, Anna Cherry (Shane) and Aaron (Alica) Estes, Katina England Huff (Colby) Seth England (Chelsea) and Ashton Doss.
Great- Grandchildren: Asa Coleman, Apollo Coleman, Cooper Robinson, Fin Robinson, Hawthorne Robinson, Iris Jo Robinson, Parker Cowan, Dalton Cherry, Kaden Cherry, LeiAnna Cherry, Tatum Estes, Kami Clark and Kimber Huff.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Dan Horton and Rudy Oakes officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on November 17, 2025, from 11:00AM until time of service.
Pallbearers to serve are Grayson Winningham, Atticus Coleman, Thad Robinson, Cody Robinson, Ray Robinson, and Bill Jenkins
Honorary Pallbearers to serve are the Deacons of Sparta First Freewill Baptist Church.
