A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, for the family and friends of Jimmy Sanderfer of Brashear, Texas. Mr. Sanderfer passed away on April 4, 2022 at his residence.
Jimmy was born on January 25, 1973 in Dallas, Texas to Michael Wayne Sanderfer and Darlene Noles. Jimmy worked as a plumber and greatly enjoyed playing football and had earned multiple scholarships for the sport.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene Powell; his step-father Bernie Shoemaker; daughters, Ashleigh Thompson and husband, Jesse, and Kelsey Christmas and husband, Tristan; son, Kyle Sanderfer and wife Meghan; brother, Michael Sanderfer; step-brother, BJ Shoemaker; grandchildren, Tyler Sanderfer, Caleigh Thompson, Riley Christmas, Audrey Sanderfer, and one on the way – Rhett Christmas.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.C. and Wanda Noles; step-grandmother, Dorothy Shoemaker; and step-brother, Scotty Powell.

We burned down the barn in Cookeville tx when i was 12yrs old I came on a greyhound from grand prairie tx. on spring break. Micheal & scotty went to school that day aunt Darlene was at work & we had to wake up carl gene & thought he was gonna have our hide. Till we meet again little brother...go chiefs. Cindyhardy
