Jimmy Ray Stringfellow, 76 of Kingsland, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 at his home. He was born February 10, 1949 in Kingsland to the late John Wesley Stringfellow and Gertrude Kimbrell Stringfellow. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, J.W. Stringfellow and Johnny Stringfellow, and four sisters, Inez Evarts, Annie Mae Hertlein, Louise King, and Jeanette Donley.
He is survived by his wife Janice Simms Stringfellow of Kingsland; his step-daughter Jessica (Phil) Kelsey of Kingsland; his daughter Melody Stringfellow of Iowa; his grandchildren, Hunter and Haylee Johnson of Kingsland and Zoey of Iowa; his brother, Leroy (Wanda) Stringfellow of Camden; his brother-in-law, Walter Hertlein of New Jersey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 1PM until 2PM at McCoy Cemetery near New Edinburg. Graveside services will follow at 2PM Wednesday at McCoy Cemetery with Rev. Josh Bolin officiating.
