Jimmy "Joe" Swofford, 69, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away on March 3, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1955, in Clinton, Arkansas to Dale and Virginia Swofford.
Joe was a hairdresser and salon owner in Conway, AR for decades, who had a creative, artistic flare in the art of hair. He was known for his exceptional talent in hair styling and brought joy to countless clients over the years. He was also a very strong advocate for animals, particularly his dogs. He fostered many pets over the years and had a great passion and love for animals. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. He was a loving, caring brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. In his later years, Joe moved back to Clinton to enjoy his retirement with his close family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by; both parents; three sisters, Donna Buckner of Conway, AR, Mary Faye Wilson and Sharon Swofford both of Clinton, AR; three brothers; Larry Swofford of Shirley, AR, Danny Swofford of Bee Branch, AR and Mike Swofford of Clinton, AR.
He is survived by sisters: Elizabeth Thorne of Conway, AR and Brenda Qutabum along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Although his passing leaves an immeasurable void; his legacy will forever live on in the lives he touched. There will be a celebration of life announced later for all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers; donations can be made to Clinton Funeral Services.
