Jimmy Milton Williams Sr., age 66, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on July 4, 2025. Born and raised in Knoxville on March 24, 1959, Jimmy was the proud son of the late Mary Cozart and Robert Williams.

A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Jimmy lived a life grounded in love, strength, and service. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and the discipline, integrity, and resilience he gained during his time in uniform stayed with him throughout his life.

Jimmy's children-Jarvis Samuels, April Williams, and Jimmy Williams Jr.-were his greatest joy and constant motivation. He was a deeply loving and present father who never missed an opportunity to show up and support his family. He especially cherished his grandchildren, Jaylen, Jordyn, Jamius, Deron, Kennedy, and Jarvis Jr. who lit up his world and brought him immeasurable pride.

Jimmy will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is survived by his siblings Ruby Thompkins (Hillavery Thompkins) and Kennedy Cozart, (Ingrid Cozart) and was preceded in death by his sister, Carla Cozart, and his beloved parents.

Jimmy was known for his strong presence, sharp wit, and loyal heart. Whether sharing a laugh, offering his wisdom, or simply being there when you needed him, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Jimmy's legacy is one of resilience, love, and unwavering commitment. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered always.
